Remedial building repairs to Sydney apartment complex. This large multi-storey unit complex needed a full list of remedial works, from concrete repairs and waterproofing to facade coating and complete pool upgrade.
The sheer scale of the project presented unique challenges. With 90 custom-designed bathrooms, each tailored to individual owner requests for distinct tiling, finishes, and fixtures, the complexity was evident. Another significant undertaking was the replacement of 48 double-story windows, coupled with necessary structural adjustments, all within a tight schedule. Amidst these tasks, a standout feature was the creation of a custom kitchen, replete with high-end fixtures for a discerning tenant.
However, the true challenge lay in managing dynamic customer engagement. With 300 units either directly or indirectly impacted by the works, seamless communication was crucial. Dapcor's commitment to stakeholder collaboration was evident in the weekly Q&A sessions with property owners and regular team meetings with engineers and tradespeople. This rigorous engagement strategy, combined with Dapcor's experience working with diverse Owners Corporations, Strata Committees, and professionals, ensured the project's timely and budgeted completion. Effective communication wasn't just a priority; it was the linchpin that held the project together.

Minor repairs over time had taken their toll.The project’s scope aimed to correct the imperfections: all 28 units needed balustrade upgrades, waterproofing to balconies, paving on pedestals, replacement of windows and doors and cavity flashing and extensive spalling concrete repairs. The whole building required rendering and painting.
