Large Scale Window Replacement
In Kurraba Point
This residential property required all 99 of its windows to be replaced with new aluminium double hung windows, as well as internal lintel replacement, and internal make good works.
Building History
The historic building has been plagued by a persistent issue, window leaks stemming from poorly maintained and aging windows. These leaks have allowed moisture to infiltrate the interior spaces during rainstorms and adverse weather conditions. The result is not only the discomfort of water seepage but also the potential for more extensive structural damage, as water infiltration can compromise the building's integrity over time. The problem with the building's windows emphasised the need for prompt maintenance and upgrades to ensure the preservation of both its value and physical condition.
Refurbishment on a Larger Scale
This project consisted of many different solutions to help fix the water ingress problems. These solutions included window replacement over the entire building, painting and rendering of certain areas around the building, and the replacement of the internal lintels of specific windows. Following these works, we also completed internal make good to give all occupants a fresh and new feel to both the interior and exterior to the building whilst also fixing the problem at hand.

This strata building in Freshwater, Sydney, needed remedial work to correct for more than two decades of band-aid repairs.Situated at the northern end of Freshwater Beach, this building’s facade did not match its stunning location. Minor repairs over time had taken their toll.The project’s scope aimed to correct the imperfections: all 28 units needed balustrade upgrades, waterproofing to balconies, paving on pedestals, replacement of windows and doors and cavity flashing and extensive spalling concrete repairs. The whole building required rendering and painting.
