This strata building in Freshwater, Sydney, needed remedial work to correct for more than two decades of band-aid repairs.


Situated at the northern end of Freshwater Beach, this building’s facade did not match its stunning location. Minor repairs over time had taken their toll.

The project’s scope aimed to correct the imperfections: all 28 units needed balustrade upgrades, waterproofing to balconies, paving on pedestals, replacement of windows and doors and cavity flashing and extensive spalling concrete repairs. The whole building required rendering and painting.
